Vote for Mike to restore the focus of LISD on providing a high quality education that will prepare children for success in life.
Vote for Mike to stop the wasteful spending and to stop increasing property taxes. Most of our property taxes are paid to LISD and the current Board of Trustees is asking for a 35% increase in property tax revenues in our school district. Vote for Mike to remove the propaganda in school hallways and classrooms, designed to groom children in the Leander Independent School District towards embracing perverse sexual activity. Voting begins Oct 24, 2022 |

Focus on AcademicsOur focus needs to return to academic success and we need to free educators from spending large amounts of time on social indoctrination of students. Our students need skills that can help them find jobs and skills that can give them success in college.
Stop sexualizing children in LISDEstablish policies to stop the sexualization of elementary age school children. No adult should talk to other people's children about sex acts. Stop teaching children to believe a boy is a girl and a girl is a boy.
Remove Obscene and Pornographic Materials
Provide oversight to our Superintendent of Schools to ensure obscene materials are removed. Any material that Board members and the Superintendent would be ashamed to read aloud in a Board meeting should not be read in classrooms.

LISD is currently $2.6 Billion in debtThe current Trustees have increased our property taxes every year they have been on the Board. Newly built homes provide a significant source of new revenues and hence it is not necessary to continually increase taxes on existing homes. This is especially burdensome for citizens who live on a limited income. It is time to vote for new Trustees who will listen to taxpayers and care.
Stop Bullying on Campuses
Bullying needs to stop on LISD campuses and parents need to be able to trust that their children are safe. No victim should have to return to school the next day to face the bully who just struck him/her the day prior. Any bully who resorts to violence should be separated from other students for at least one week.
